What
is Mineral Makeup?
Mineral makeup is minerals that are mined from the
earth and treated, coated and grinned to produce cosmetic
grade pigment. These pigments used by alone are considered
natural but when mixed with chemicals, dyes, and cosmetic
fillers they no longer can be called natural. Colorloc mineral
shimmer powders are all natural. Mica, titanium dioxide, zinc
and iron oxides, are the coloring agents for conventional
cosmetics but in Colorloc these pigments are the only ingredients
used.
I am allergic to Makeup; will I be allergic to Colorloc
Shimmer Powder?
No. People are allergic to makeup because of all the fillers
that companies use to make the makeup. Unless you are allergic
to Mica (rock) you won’t be allergic to Colorloc.
Will I ruin my shimmer powders if I use it for nail
polish or lip-gloss?
No. You will not contaminate the shimmer powders? The shimmer
powders adhere to moisture. If you spill some nail polish
in the shimmer powder just pick up the nail polish with the
nail polish brush.
How well does the make-up stay on?
Mica powder mixes with the natural oils of your skin, so it
won’t fade or come off when your eyes water. The reason
makeup cakes up or gets in the creases of your eyes is the
mixture of talc and oil. Colorloc does not use any talc, oils,
waxes or other chemicals; this will allow it to stay on all
day. If you have dry skin, you might want to use a primer
or foundation on the lid for better adhesion.
How do I remove it?
One advantage of not using the unwanted fillers is that you
do not need harsh makeup removers to take off the makeup.
Soap and water work just fine.
